本次展览所展示的巨口乡，是位于福建省南平市延平区的国家级生态乡。2015年，合福高铁穿越了这片土地。现代的生活以更高速的方式进入了乡村，往日衰败的乡村得到了重新面对未来的时机。

Jukou, which is demonstrated in this exhibition, is a national-level ecological township located in Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province. In 2015, Hefei High-Speed Rail crossed the land. Modern life has entered the villages more rapidly, and the decaying countryside has been given the opportunity to face the future.

西交利物浦大学建筑系师生在巨口乡5个传统村落中进行了广泛的文化遗产资源调研，主要从村落的历史、景观、传统建筑以及村民们对遗产保护的认识开展，梳理与重建逐渐消失的传统知识。

In the summer of 2018, Associate Professor Yiping Dong and students from the department of architecture, Xi’an Jiaotong－Liverpool University worked in the fields of Jukou to research five villages. The study focuses on the villages’ history, landscape, traditional architecture and villagers’ perspectives towards heritage conservation, aiming to reorganize and rebuild the evanescent traditional knowledge.

 “巨口夏日记”试图通过四部分的内容，构筑起九龙、谷园、上埔、岭根和馀庆村的整体风貌，包括：

“Jukou Summer" tries to build the overall appearance of Jiulong, Guyuan, Linggen, and Yuqing Villages through four parts, including:
